I always have a pleasant meal here with good service, but at this occasion they did not have my booking on their system that I had booked via open table. fortunately, there were tables that were otherwise available, it would have been a problem.

There’s a new French chef in charge of the carvery, and they are very attentive and engaged with the customers. Several new staff members have joined the team, providing nice, efficient, and friendly service. As always, the carvery continues to offer excellent value for money.

Toby Carveries in the area have really declined, being overcrowded and of poor quality. However, Stafferton Lodge was a delightful surprise. The staff were very friendly, and there was no waiting in line since bookings were well organized. The dining area was clean, and the roast was delicious. Overall, it was excellent value for money.
