"I always enjoy the food at Toby's carvery but it is ALWAYS at best tepid and usually cold by the time I get it to the table. At least the plates were a bit warmer than usual and the spoons in the serving dishes were so hot, we had to use napkins to hold them. It is a pity that such nice food is spoiled by being either tepid or cold before it is eaten. The service is excellent, just enough attention being given to customers without breathing down their necks. I have always appreciated the service at table and behind the bar and at check in'."

the carrots were stone-hard some carrots were burned. the tellers should be warm. all very disappointing.

the personal was brilliant. I'm sorry that eating wasn't so good. roasted potatoes were generally overcooked was very warm, along with cold plates.

As it was 12.30 the food was fresh and hot. It wasn’t busy so the service was excellent a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Reasonably priced will book early lunch again.

delicious food, perfect for my autistic son, as the choice was ideal. he was impressed by the size of the Yorkshire puppies! the cheesecake pudding was amazing. we will definitely come back.

Good service the carvery had a good choice of meats and vegetables and was tasty. Good selection of deserts. Upon arrival there were some tables that had not been cleared which is a bit off putting when you first walk in.

Known of this carvery, have visited before. Service and food was excellent. I was very disappointed at seeing people taking far more food than they could ever eat, and then taking it out in doggy bags, obviously for another meal, totally abusing the hospitality. No detriment to the venue, but disgusting all the same.

booked a table 24 hours ago and managed to get a reservation. we were a little disappointed that there were no chicken bugs for the children, that is to say on meatballs and pasta, the meatballs were cold in the inner, so my grand had just pasta for dinner. the carvers were good as usual. I was absolutely shocked at paying £6.50 for 2 dietary coke
