"Terrible booking system. Booked online for 2:15 Mothers Day, get called from the restaurant asking us to pre order and pay a deposit, which we did. Once this was done they tried pushing our booking back as much as possible. We didn’t want to but ended up feeling like we had to so agreed to change to 3pm. Then they tried to move our table outside despite it being early March and one of the guests being 87. And they just kept saying how busy they were. That’s not our problem, they shouldn’t have took the booking if they couldn’t cope with it. The day before we came we received a reminder text of the table being booked for 2:15 so we had to ring up again to check what time the table was now for and were told 3pm. When we arrived there were people in front of us who had not got the message about pre ordering or paying a deposit and were told they had cancelled their reservation as a result. The guy was really rude telling them how it was their fault because he left a message and no one had called them back and the family were then worried they would have nowhere to eat as everywhere else would obviously be booked at that point. This whole process was not clear through the booking system and we were not aware either until we got the call ourselves. We were then told to which table to sit on, no one came over and it took 20 minutes until we even got a drink. On the set menu it said a free glass of fizz to all the Mums, but this was never offered to us (there were three mums in our group). The starters were tight on portions considering it wasn’t cheap. The mains were fine and the desert was nice. Also, our kids were charged the half price set menu (which was the kids option) even though they only had a main and desert, and not a starter. So there was no reduction in cost for them even though they had not asked us if they wanted a starter. They then brought out the kids mains the same time as they adult starters. Service was really slow, and plates were left on the table for a long time after we finished. 10% service charge was put on the bill, which I thought was a joke as we barely had any service while we were there. I would have gave feedback on the day if anyone at any point had asked how things were, but they didn’t. Which just demonstrated the level of service we received. From the booking process to dining, we were made to feel like an inconvenience, which really soured things when it is meant to be a nice day. Overall a really bad experience and won’t be going back."

Absolute gem if a place. Visited with my husband while in the area and we will most definately visit again. Service was top botch and the food...oh my god! The best Italian meal I have had since being in Sorrento! Absolutely scrummy.

Average Sunday lunch. Arrived just before 6pm. Ordered two lamb roasts. Felt like we got the leftovers with bits of roast potatoes with reheated slices of lamb. Everything wimming in gravy but that was the tastiest part! No Yorkshire pudding, couldn’t be bothered to ask... Voir le carte

Food was unbelievable- fresh, tasty and not drowning in oil! Can thoroughly recommend the tomato and pesto flatbread for starter. Excellent Value for money, portion size is perfect. Nothing is outrageously priced and we had a two course meal for 2 with 2 alcoholic drinks...

Wow!! What an amazing pub!!! The owner/manager really went above and beyond for my girls. He made the girls extra spe oal mocktails and it made the girls day. One of my daughters is disabled and she had the best time ever. Such lovely people work there and it would be really hard for me to eat elsewhere...the place could not be beaten. The food, hospitality and the warm atmosphere is above 5 star. The tipperary Inn, keep doing what you do because you are exceptional and extraordinary Voir le carte

Avoid- the booking system doesn't work and service is awful 939630671 Drove 40 minutes from Rugby with my pregnant wife for a reservation at 7pm on Sat 24th Feb 2024 as we used to like going there a lot when I worked in Honiley and we lived in Meriden. Car park was a nightmare with next to no spaces, greeted by a waiter with no knowledge of our booking despite an email confirmation and advised that he has no space other than a hut outside where people were allowed to smoke! No apology despite the wasted journey so we decided to leave and will not be coming back.

Decided to give the Tipperary a go with some friends and try somewhere different WISH WE DID NOT…!!!!! . There was 8 of us and all tho the place wasn’t busy at all the service was terrible the waitress reply to everything when asked about the menu was “ I don’t know “ even a simple question “what’s the soup of the day” was given with the same reply after being asked to go and find out she eventually did came back with an answer .
