I booked short for a Sunday roast and was appended by my wife, the year old son and our inflatable boxer dog, bruno. the staff was more than welcoming and the meal was great. the pub had a lively ambiente and could not fail the service at all. I am happy to recommend it.

The food and service are top class, nothing was too much trouble for Myles and the team. The accommodation was fine, but bear in mind the rooms are about to undergo refurbishment, which is needed. Went this evening for a meal superb food and service small menu ment everything is cooked to order and fresh very impressed. Service is excellent and it was great to see family's and pets welcome too. Food prices are on Average £6/8 for a starter and £15/20 for a main a little more for steak but we'll worth it. Car parking, fresh and clean décor, well presented and accessible. Food drinks: This is a Chef and a team who know what they’re about. Beef croquettes were crispy potato goodness on the outside and filled with umptious, rich flavoured soft textured beef on the inside. Light but full flavoured horseradish sauce and crisp (fresh) salad! Belly pork, cooked so the top is crispy, the meat is moist and soft whilst maintaining its texture and full of flavour with a hint of five spice. Beaut! Proper pie! Called in for some lunch and didn't know what to expect really, it looked like a town pub from the outside. It was brilliant. The food was lovely, reasonably priced (not cheap but felt well worth what we got) and the guy serving couldn't have been more hospitable. We had a lovely lunch and ended up staying for deserts and sole drinks which wasn't planned. It was very well presented inside, if anything we felt a little underdressed in casual clothes on the way back from the swimming pool not that we were made to feel it in any way.
