"We travelled from Doncaster to visit my brother for New Year's Eve. We were looking for somewhere go for an early evening meal and managed to get a table mid afternoon at this lovely pub. What a find. We all went for the beef roast dinner and from the presentation to the staff serving ourselves was amazing. The meat, yorkshire puddings and roasties were all served on a platter and the array of vegetable selection just kept on coming to the table. It was a pleasure to have proper home cooked food, which is a rarity these days. Unfortunately, we had full bellies and could not manage a sweet, maybe next time we are over. Thankyou to all the staff that served us. It was a lovely few hours spent in such a warm and welcoming pub. Pity that we don't live nearer"

"The best Indian food for miles around! We had a takeaway tonight and chose a mixed grill main course. We had ordered the mixed tandoori starter a few weeks ago and could not stop drooling over it. The mixed grill was perfect, we shared it and added a garlic rice. The garlic rice from this place deserves its own mention as its the best we have ever had and full of lovely, caramelised garlic. I don 't usually eat meat at Indian restaurants as I 've had one too many 'chewy ' encounters but I 100% trust the Waters Edge, their chicken is lovely and falls apart on the fork and they 've even got me eating lamb now. Some of the 'best 'Indian restaurants in the area charge far more than Waters Edge yet here you get intense flavours, excellent quality and brilliant service. Don 't hesitate to give it a go!"

"The food was delicious and the portions were generous at this restaurant. However, the service was a bit slow. I was not a fan of the discretionary service charge included on the bill, as it can be awkward for customers who may not want to pay it. This fee is more reasonable for larger groups, but not for families. Overall, I would rate the service and location as a 4 out of 5."

"I have booked for Sunday short for 25 people after a positive experience at the weekend. every dish I tried was amazing, the menu was easy to read, they had quality beer on the draught ie cobra and estrella and location scenery was very relaxing in the marina with plentiful parking. an Indian gloom I tried everything, but was pleasantly surprised by the secret twist to the aromes I had never experienced. great service of callum and beth. nothing was too much annoyed, each request was filled with a smile and one yes I can what is especially commendable when there was a big party to keep happy. each person went with an unforgettable culinary experience."

"what a sound! our first time here and we will definitely come back! we have booked a table.(It was busy! . it was in the garden room restaurant that was upstairs and super pretty with this beautiful faux blossom tree and twinkly lighter in the deck. there they also called longhorn, which was down but cannot comment on the equipment! they have a great choice of drinks and eating was wonderful. I had the sirloin steak and the confit of garlic was that he had the pit burger my eating partner loved so chips were fantastic! the service was great, very friendly and attentive. had a really nice time and will definitely be back, can not wait to try the pizza they saw yummy!"
