"You will find a route from the Juwelierviertel to the city centre. Hidden over the real Ale Pub by chance and glad I did. They had 16 real Ales on **** to choose from. It is a cozy city pub with many seats around a central bar serving genuine ales, cedar and a wide selection of whiskys and other spirits. A dartboard and a rack of newspapers offers entertainment with TV and jukebox absent, which means talking to you fellow drinkers in a very reasonable volume. This jewel of a pub will be on my revisit list when I'm in Birmingham."

Smashing brews here and very fine building. The tear race is small but if you can get a seat enjoy.

Very nice place. From the first step in I liked the atmosphere, so friendly and cosy. Moreover, there's the biggest ales selection set of all tastes, which you can drink in a company of two local hosts cats

Always enjoy calling in on my visits into Birmingham. Plenty of beers to select from and if you're unsure sample the beer before you buy. We have actually been allowed to bring our own sandwiches which go nicely with the beer.

I had a good time at The Wellington Pub recently. I drank bitters, porters and citras among other things, and they were all delicious. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Clientele were a laid-back bunch of locals, not pretentious beer snobs. In addition, the resident cats add a homely touch. It's certainly on my list of places to visit when I return in 2023.

One crackling traditional pub. It should be on every ale lover's visit list. Superb whiskey collection. Great lineup of brews on tap. Super friendly staff. Place does get crowded in the evenings but that brings this place alive.You can reserve first floor space for private events. Best place in the house is outdoor seats through rear door. Must visit if you are in Brum.
