The freshness of the ingredients really stood out, making it our favorite meal of the trip. For dessert, we enjoyed a vegan brownie with ice cream that was moist and delightful, topped with nuts and caramel sauce. The pub itself is charming, with velvet decor in the dining room, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. We only wish we lived closer so we could dine there more often! This is the second time we've come for Sunday lunch, and once again it was outstanding. The beef and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed a fantastic pint in the cozy beer garden. I can't wait to visit again!

in Alton Towers eating did not stay so good, so decided to take a trip to the village came over this pub ordered eating and drinking them really well would recommend everyone who lives in Alton Towers to taste this place absolutely quality eating and drinking Voir le carte

We were visiting from Manchester and The Star was a lovely watering hole, the staff and people in the pub were very friendly and the food was amazing, delicious and good sized portions, I would definitely eat here again even though they ran out of fish chips!

we were gone for the weekend in a log cabin and went down to the star. everything I can say is what is a welcoming place. the personal has all amazing went out for all 8 of us. booked for Sunday dinner and was absolutely amazing eating was nothing for them much. we will definitely go back I would recommend this pub x

my friend and I would like to thank the nice staff who helped us last night when we had a rash on our tires. they could not do enough for us, including the reopening of the kitchen, so our children could eat something and even drive us to our car late in the night after the pub closed. thanks for all of you. you were absolutely amazing Voir le carte
