The Squeeze - Menu

Lovely little spot with lots of great options. They have recently moved to this location and I actually much prefer it. Well worth a visit

I had breakfast at Squeeze this morning and it was absolutely delicious! The food was amazing and the service was great. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

Sadly, the noise levels are such that this is no longer a quiet place for lunch. Their own music blaring and people with laptops with their solo music blaring too. The cafe is too small for this. Time for a change for me

Honestly some of the best food I've ever had, the potato dauphinoise is to die for and there's a great range of dishes to pick from. Starters come out one at a time which is really good for sharing with friends and family.

We were seated in a small room upstairs when we enquired about a table. All good. Gave our order and waited 39 minutes for drinks to be told we needed to move tables to accommodate a larger walk in party. Moved to a worse table and waited another 30 minutes for food. Rubbish.

We have attempted to enjoy this café, but the service is incredibly slow. We have walked out on two separate occasions due to the lack of efficiency. It would be beneficial for the staff to undergo training. There was not a single smile in sight and our breakfast turned into lunch by the time we received our orders. The experience was disappointing.

First visit to the Squeeze with some friends who are regulars. Very warm welcome from the staff and taken to a table upstairs with plenty of space. The food was excellent, great fresh produce, well made and delicious. The children sausage, potato mustard hash and eggs bagel was fantastic. The vegan breakfast and salmon and eggs bagels also excellent. Great coffee. Great service. Highly recommended.

I have been to The Squeeze several times at both its new and old locations. The food is consistently delicious! I would say it offers the best cooked breakfast in Leigh on Sea. The portion sizes are excellent and great value for money. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The only downside is that sometimes the toilets can be a bit messy. Also, the baby changing unit is located very high up on the wall, which can make changing a nappy quite difficult.

I don’t leave many reviews but effectively made this account to leave this one. Upon first glance, The Squeeze is quite a quaint coffee shop in the heart of Leigh-on-Sea, friendly staff and even the bonus of some lovely dogs watching their owners sip coffee. Unfortunately, that’s where the dream ends. The stark reality of the place is extraordinarily long waits for food (in excess of 45 minutes… for soup. Really? over exerted staff to near breaking point. A generally less than positive experience, which is a shame for someone new to the area. Thankfully many other coffee shops in the area so I won’t have to frequent this establishment. A certain must avoid.
