The Sloop - Carte

Very good food, service was slow, however the owner came and apologised, as a large group had ordered minutes before us.

Was a lovely place for a friends get together for triple belated birthdays, service was very good and friendly def recommend

I often visit this pub on Thursday nights for quiz night. The atmosphere is really nice, and the bar staff and customers all seem very friendly.

Friendly service and good food. Good ambience at the pub and often live music on at the weekends. Would certainly recommended this pub to others.

Came here for lunch with some old friends, the service was brilliant.. we were greeted right away and the drinks order took no time at all. The menu was a lot bigger than expected and the food was so delicious. I will definitely be coming back to the sloop!

Looked at menu online but when got there menu was slightly different and she told me it hadn't been updated. Specifically went for cheese pie advertised but wasn't actually available, in fact no pies were available. Being a vegetarian my choice was limited but the mushroom burger I had was good

We have eaten at the Sloop a few times. Today the food was good but they no longer offer sweet potato fries as an extra which is a shame. They also used to do pigs in blankets which were delicious but alas no more. The burger meal was great as were the sausages. My seafood platter was OK. The scallops were well cooked but not drained so a lot of wet. They also used very basic white baguettes which let the dish down. I much prefer brown bread with prawns etc. Also the side salad was a little basic. Overall, the meal was enjoyable but those little details were missing. Voir le carte
