"Very mixed experience. We had lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, so a very quiet time to visit and sure enough there was not many people there when we arrived. We ordered our drinks and mains and they came promptly and were very nice, however one of the burgers was missing one of its toppings as they'd run out of brisket. We then ordered desserts. A simple Eaton mess and 2 chocolate brownies and ice cream. We waited. And waited. And after about 30 mins or so we asked if they'd forgotten them as that seemed a long time to wait for something so simple between 14.00 and 15.00 on a Tuesday. Eventually at 15.12 our desserts arrived some 50 minutes after ordering, 1h 22 mins after our mains, with an apology for the time taken. About to tuck in I noticed we had no ice cream on the brownies so I had to go find someone to ask what had happened. Eventually someone came to tell us there was an issue with the freezer and there wasn't any. I wish we had been told this 45 mins earlier as we'd not have stayed and waited. We wasted some precious family time on something which didn't arrive and my family had to then get their boat home instead of a planned visit elsewhere."

Stopped here for Sunday lunch. Very good beef roast, but the veggie nut roast was even better. Not sure about the peas in an apple crumble though! Would definitely return for some of the other dishes on the menu too.

Well what a discovery, this place is amazing. The food, staff and friendliness of the whole place was fantastic. If it wasn’t for an ad on Instagram I would of never known about it. Very very good burger for the price, Will be coming back for sure

beautiful place, great atmosphere, great eating, friendly staff. everything we had was beautiful. (I had the ruck hühnerburger, who was a daily special, but I hope they put it on the new menu! they have a great choice of gin and other ghosts. they are also dog and child-friendly. we will definitely come back. I think we found our new favorite place! Apparently they also make takeaway/delivery so that we can order from here if we like a takeaway.

The Railway Inn is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the menu offers a good variety of options. I had a delicious burger with fantastic cheesy chips that were probably the best I've ever had! The restaurant is tastefully decorated and has a great atmosphere. The restrooms were very clean. All of the food was freshly prepared and was served promptly. Our large dog was also happily welcomed. I would definitely recommend paying a visit to this place. Voir le carte

This restaurant is wonderful with a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and welcoming staff. Everything we ordered was excellent. I tried the jerk chicken burger as a daily special and absolutely loved it - I hope they add it to the regular menu! They also have a wide variety of gin and other spirits to choose from. Additionally, the restaurant is pet and child friendly. We will definitely be returning as we believe we have found our new favorite local spot. We were pleased to hear that they offer takeout and delivery services, we will definitely be ordering from here the next time we are craving a takeaway.

Four of us went to celebrate my dad 's 80th birthday after seeing many posts on Facebook etc and we weren 't disappointed! Butter and Chillie prawns are amazing as were the legendary Railway Inn burgers! We had the shredded BBQ Beef and Cajun Butter milk chicken, my dad very much enjoyed his Lamb and mint sausages and my mum had the caesar salad. All followed by pudding and coffee which were all very good, the Railway Inn was very clean and staff are all very polite and well dressed, in addition to being versed on the menu.
