"Never had a problem with staff here, or the food. Always consistent and never fails to satisfy my simple diet. The place has gone downhill somewhat this last year or so, possibly since the Bootle one shut. Now all the gobby ones come here, often the language is terrible especially as there's often children around. Recently witnessed a member of staff on the receiving end of some vile verbal abuse from some irate little slapper. Felt terrible for the poor lady on the bar, she didn't deserve that. No fault of the company, as its a cheap enough pub afterall. I just don't feel as relaxed here as before. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3"
