What a quintessentially English tea room. At £8.95 the cream tea was absolutely value for money and I could not fault it. The staff were so lovely and attentive. This is a real treasure of a place.will be back again.

Went to buy a Christmas Tree on my lunch break and called in on my way back to work. So glad I did, I had forgotten how nice it is. Managed to resist the cakes but they looked terrific. Recommend a visit for lunch or one of the lovely coffees with a cake

really nice café, very friendly and helpful. they do some really nice meals and at a really good price. always busy so book in advanced for a table. but they do very nice takeaway food as well as sitting down for a meal. would recommend to any one and would defently would call again 5 star Voir le carte

called in as it looked nice very the outside all the teapots on the windowsill.was greeted very warmly by the friendly staff and was made to feel at home.only had tea at first and was given a complimentry cake to try which was delicious.we would highly recomend the pantry and will be going back regularly.

We 've been visiting The Pantry on a monthly basis for the last couple of years. It 's a great little tearoom quite small, quirky and cosy. It 's very friendly, with an old world charm and a family run establishment. The service is attentive and good home cooked food, sandwiches and cakes is the Pantry 's trademark.

My friend and I went here today for afternoon tea and it was lovely, the staff are so welcoming, warm and friendly as soon as you walk through the door, they can not do enough for you. We had a selection of sandwiches, side salad, crisps and a selection of cakes and it was perfect. We will definitely be going there again. Voir le carte

I have been to the pantry about five times now, and it never disappoints. The staff are fantastic and they bake some fantastic cakes. Its a lovely place for a nice quite lunch. and I have been unable to find any faults thus far. They have just opened up an Ice Cream parlor, and an outside seating area, which is great if you are on a walk, and just want to take the weight off your feet. They also have bistro evening events that are truly amazing, but you will have to book well in advance as they are sold out as soon as they are announced. As Sugababe2 said this is a little gem of a place and well worth the trip.

We brought mum here for afternoon tea for Mother 's Day. It 's a small but very cosy room and we were instantly greeted and made to feel very welcome. We were taken to our table where afternoon tea was already set up for us. There was plenty of choice and everything was delicious. The staff were attentive, checking our tea regularly and topping us up with milk. There was absolutely no feeling of being rushed (even though it must be one of the busiest days of the year for them! and we spent a good hour inside, even though we 'd finished our food in half that time. WOW WOW WOW!!!! What an amazing place, such a hidden gem in the lovely town of Swanwick! The Pantry is really quirky and has such a homely feel with a lovely welcoming family who own the place. I attended one of the new bistro evenings the pantry have started to hold on Thursday evenings. From what I gather they offer different themed evenings such as Italian and Steak etc. I have been to the last steak night and all I can say is YUM and a big congrats to the chef! There are not many places where the chef actually comes out of the kitchen to ask everyone on a personal basis if they are enjoying their meal.
