"an excellent meal served by really friendly and efficient staff. I splashed out, starting with chicken liver pate, lamming for main and finish with sticky toffee pudding. a few beers (st mungo) and a coffee drink. I ate early wautng for the sleeper train and the restaurant filled when the evening went. the owner came to check everything was good and was accordingly same. I also liked the open kitchen and offered something to see how I fed myself. highly recommended."

"When I was there, they had Gf-Konesse. They don't always have them, but they were stored separately in a sealed container. Sorbets were so creamy that I did not even lack milk, and they have an info sheet of it gluten-free (most flavors that do not contain any obvious biscuit etc element)."

"The restaurant has a fantastic variety of beers, with a staff that is friendly and well-informed, creating a pleasant atmosphere. I didn't sample the food myself, but it appeared appealing, as many customers were ordering. I stayed in one of the rooms above the bar, which were basic yet spacious and clean. My room overlooked a "secret garden." Although I was very tired and fell asleep quickly, I could see how some may find it too noisy, even with the windows closed."

"social enterprise. this is just like a reasonable food place, is also a training place, so too time the service can lick a little less than it at a place where there is no training. there is a menu, well boiled, and in the well presented. I strongly recommend that they look for a meal in inverness. I would consider it in the top 5 I would choose from if I had lunch in the city."
