the owal lounge. good food, freshly cooked and well presented. personal very friendly and politely good place to enjoy a meal in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

Good burgers on Monday, and a nice meal can be had for not to much money. Staff is friendly but a tad slow. The outdoor front porch is very nice and open all year. Good place for an informal meal or a drink after work

Friendly Good Food. They have really updated the place from the days of Lavender. The food is much better, the service is unpretentious and friendly and it has a really nice neighborhood feel. A great alternative in a neighborhood not known for its culinary high points.

great atmosphere good eating reasonable prices. when tired of the chain restaurants that have swallowed london, owal lounge is a welcome alternative. excellent service and a warm atmosphere that made a new feeling welcome the portions are generous, and while the burger was good, the halat was a large surprise mixed greens that had exactly the right amount of dressing. next time I would like to try out more menu I would come back? absolutely!

Good, great burgers. Cool new(ish) addition to the area. I tend to go for the burgers which are very good (a la GBK). Rest of the menu includes your standard quality gastro-pub selection. Attracts young urbanites basking in the Oval Lounge's free wi-fi. Have noticed it's getting more packed in the evenings. Sunday afternoons are also good as they have small but smart rear terrace. Good alternative to the Fentiman Arms and The White Hart. Prompt and polite service in this quite compact venue.

Really impressed. After having a string of bad deliveries in recent months I'm so glad I tried this restaurant. Can't comment on everything but I Ordered: chips which were great, chunky! Cheeseburger, which was tailored to my liking and cooked to my request. I also ordered a cola which I was pleased to find came in a glass bottle and not a can which I prefer, and also ordered a hot chocolate which really nice, very sweet but I did get cream and marshmallows and was still delivered hot. Also the restaurant checked my additional note requesting some sauces and they provided this free of charge. Haven't left many reviews but am very impressed with this order tonight. Happy customer
