I recently attended a friend's birthday party at this restaurant. We had a wonderful time! Unlike some hotels, this is a more casual dining spot, which was actually a positive for us. The atmosphere was laid-back and enjoyable. Voir le carte

The service and atmosphere at this restaurant are excellent. There are many places in London that offer afternoon tea at a more reasonable price, but it would have been nice to have more sandwich options along with the sweet treats and scones. Despite this, the overall experience was enjoyable.

A must for a special occasion, beautiful food in a beautiful place. What was especially good was that nothing contained nuts! Usually with cakes and desserts they are hidden in there somewhere! Very indulgent but still light and tasty, didn’t leave us feeling overly stodgy! Would definitely recommend going.

The food was tasty and we didn't have any complaints about what was being served. However, the restaurant was dirty and the employees were seen standing around chatting, which was not up to the standards I would expect for a fine dining experience. Terrible service. - We never have a sugar bowl until the end. We waited for more hot water over 30min for demand! Then we had to ask again if we were to serve them. The staff was very nice but not very attentive or were they overworked? And it was very week tea, a tea bag in the teapot! 2 tea bags are expected for the price. I'm not back.

This trip to London was important as I wanted to show my daughter the “traditions”. Both the location and price point met my needs. Fake flowers at a royal garden?! The service started off well and attentive but waned as it drew time to leave. Servers crowded the table with afternoon tea towers as opposed to providing guidance on what to order or providing a side table. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The food was good and the location was central.

Very disappointed Waiter Could not tell us what was in the vegetarian sandwiches We needed to know what was in the sandwiches, and even when they arrived, they had the wrong ingredients Could not eat, mayonnaise or raw egg due to being pregnant Asked for a refill of the teapot and they topped it up with just hot water on hot of the tea It was cold, and then they argued when I said like a new pot I couldn’t tell us the ingredients in the cakes, so couldn’t eat them either As I said, very disappointed, will not be recommending the afternoon tea to anyone Voir le carte
