It seems that the bottles of Diet Coke that they buy leave the glass 1 inch short so they top it up from a large bottle. I know that things are hard but to charge £2 for 1 inch of Coke is excessive and they can do without my custom in the future"

We eat at The Old Crown for special occasions or when we want a really nice evening out. The food has been of a very high standard every visit. The Crown is much more a restaurant than a pub and booking is recommended. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Had not been since before Covid. Had not lost any of its charm and ambiance. From the moment you walk through the door you are made to feel so welcome. No rush and yet the service was spot on. A good choice on the menu and the food was excellent. Already looking to book again Voir le carte

The staff at The Old Crown just get it. Friendly, efficient service, great food and a good balance between being a good food stop and a pub.
