"We recently held the wake after my fathers funeral at the Oak Tree. Victoria went through the food choices before the day and made sure everything was taken care of. We felt we were in a safe pair of hands. The food choices are excellent and the venue is perfect with ample parking (only 5 mins too from Blacon Crematorium). We were given a whole section of the building to ourselves (with conservatory), so we felt very private. We were also allowed as much time as was needed, so no rush to get us out. Victoria was incredibly attentive, but not intrusive and the food kept coming. Everyone commented on how lovely it was. The Oak Tree team go above and beyond to put the customer first. I even asked if we could play music (favourite tunes of Dad’s) and they were able to sort it. They took the stresses out of the day and made us all feel very looked after. The prices are incredibly reasonable too. Thank you Victoria and the Oak Tree team. You do an amazing job x"

We held my mother's wake at this restaurant today. The staff were fantastic and the food at the buffet was excellent. It was great value for the money. I would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a funeral. My family and I will definitely be returning in the future.

We needed to book a table for 17 for a double birthday meal within an hour, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us so helpful and friendly. Food was great we all had an amazing time our sever was hollie williams can't thank you enough. Would highly recommend you visit.

Went here with my husband . We had a lovely meal and the service from Darren was fantastic . Made such a nice change to be served by someone so helpful and happy . In fact all the staff that we encountered were really good and were happy in their work . Will definitely be returning .

Would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone me and my partner came in today around three ish we both had the ultimate burger which we both really enjoyed I also had the triple chocolate brownie and my partner had the sticky toffy pud we had brilliant service from Lee Harry and Callum

Absolutely amazed what this place has turned into over the years. This is a top class place to visit. Recently enjoyed the t-bone steak and was shocked that it was as good and even better than some of the top steakhouses in Chester. Honestly, it was better. Cooked to perfection and walked out of the pub after my meal absolutely amazed, just days and weeks after having been to much more pricier steak houses. As for service, it was as good as the meal. Lee, Holly, Harry and others were outstanding and the service was perfection. I wish I could remember the names of all of the staff that waited on us that evening. Well worth the visit and as always, I really enjoy the atmosphere at the Oak Tree...
