I received a cold fish dish with no genuine apology from the staff. There's nothing worse than going out for lunch and having only one person able to eat. With subpar service and disappointing food, I would recommend skipping this place. Food: 1/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 2/5

First time there, despite being so early on a Friday, but we were the first there, sat next to the fire with my dad. The food and service were absolutely brilliant! Thank you Sam . Good setting, excellent service but various menu options were not available. Two of the six main courses were slightly dry, possibly because the meat had been left around for a while. Our meals were very disappointing. Menus were very restricted. We all went for ham and eggs. The ham was very good, but the chips were lukewarm, the eggs were under cooked and slimey and the peas were hard. On the plus side, the staff were lovely. We won't be back. . . Dog friendly venue, varied sunday lunch options deserts. Nice selection of drinks served by friendly barteam. Plenty space inside out, good parking.
