great choice, really delicious. very helpful staff, will also veganize certain dishes. if I remember correctly, they had vegan desserts too!

It is a very nice setting and enjoyed it here. I don't think the food is as good as it used to be but its still pretty good. Staff are polite and helpful. Was quite noisy.

We had a lovely evening at this restaurant with a table of 8. All of our food arrived hot and in a timely manner. The staff was very friendly and funny. I would definitely recommend this place. Voir le carte

We visited this restaurant twice in two days during a weekend trip to Shaldon. Both times they were very accommodating and managed to fit us in despite being fully booked. The pub has a beautiful atmosphere and a wonderful decor. The roast dinners were one of the best I've ever had.

Arrived here for morning coffee, blackboards outside but when we went in at 11am they said they didn't open till 12. Residents were visible having breakfast and it was 10am. Never the less we went back later in the day and had a drink. A very well mixed Pimms. Menu looked good but when we went back Sunday lunchtime it was full. Unfortunately we hadn't booked. we arrived at the end of our week in dartmouth near the ness and we love it. the staff was really friendly and friendly. we've got 9 months old and she's really well settled here. the rooms are amazing and eating was great. we had problems with things that are not available from the menu at later eating and there are no facilities for heating baby food. the overall feeling of our stay was beautiful. thanks for a great time. Went for afternoon tea and cake. The place was quite empty and there were 2 girls serving behind the bar. One served the person in front of us then wandered off leaving us standing waiting. Managed to place our order for 1 tea and 1 coffee and a cream tea. The tea and coffee arrived first but by the time the scones arrived, the tea/coffee was stone cold. Why can't they bring everything to the table at the same time? Not a good selection to be had either only cream tea or teacakes or muffins. We will not be returning. *One star given...reluctantly

ness house has such a wonderful view of the ness in shaldon. from the heights of the restaurant you can see beyond the dough-eistuary to teignmouth and beyond the south of the coast. the menu includes some vegetarian and vegan items and we were also offered a sweet roast that I chose as my main course, although it was a little dry and little taste. due to the feedback of our colleagues diners, eating is good, the service is quite fast to consider how many diners they had and overall it is worth visiting. certainly the best vegan food they get in shaldon.

my family and I love the ness. the atmosphere is so relaxed, cozy and even romantic (if we don't have the two little peeps in the tow). we recently came to the family and stayed a week in shaldon, two nights, of which we ate here. the first night was exceptionally busy and our table was really quite waiting, but we were offered an alternative (which we rejected when we did not stop it). the starter of my father did not come with us and when we checked whether it would come, we got so many excuses and a bottle of wee in the house, I mean, they can't really be much better customer service than that! the staff is so friendly and attentive, nothing is too much annoyed. now I conne the steak. twi...
