This restaurant is a regular stop for us on our way to the Lakes. They offer great food, including options like all day breakfast (including a veggie version), sausage egg chips, quiche chips salad, and yummy sponge cake.

On a wet Friday afternoon, driving back from Northumberland stopped around 2pm. Lovely service and great food. Sat outside and watched the world go by. Great stop over to recover and refresh before onward journey. Highly recommended. Voir le carte

I arrived at the restaurant by bike and was told by the owner that he did not want my bike leaning against his wall. As there was no designated area for bikes, I was essentially told that they did not want my business. This was extremely disappointing. Voir le carte

Popped in for breakfast on our way home. Wow what o lovely little place. Eating area clean and welcoming. Staff very friendly. Menu for breakfast was surprisingly varied. Hubby opted for full English and I had Swiss melt veggie option with side order of scrambled eggs along with a fresh pot of hot tea for us both. Both of these came with option of white or brown toast, we opted for the brown. Toasted well and not burnt ,win win for us.Waitress was polite and helpful. Will recommend to all, to use this fantastic place. On way out noticed the cakes OMG these looked delicious

Very quaint cafe little bit expensive but the food is ok. Soup was lovely with 2 pieces of bread. Vegan Mediterranean Panini was tasteless. It was just tasteless belle pepper and chunks of garlic in panini. Friends had tuna toasties which was apparently tasty. 20p extra for alternative milk is a little expensive but at least they had soya Oat. One thing I have to mention is the passive aggressive notices in the ladies toilet, I actually felt anxious reading them all. The notices are way over the top and the cafe needs to rethink how many they have and how they are written.

I enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant! The cheerful young ladies serving were very efficient. The food selection was good and delicious. Although the number of tables was limited, they kindly asked those who were turned away to return in about 15 minutes. We thought this was a nice touch. I tried to come back for a second meal yesterday, but unfortunately they were closed for the day. I guess even in this day and age, staff still need time off occasionally! The only downside was that the coffee was overpriced and they only accepted cash. Otherwise, I would have given them a 5-star rating. Voir le carte
