"The menu required some careful consideration, so we took our time to order while catching up, enjoying some delicious flatbread and dips in the meantime. We shared starters of sucuk and halloumi and chicken liver, which were modestly sized but packed with flavor. The hummus paired with the flatbread was exactly what you'd expect, and we were all eagerly anticipating our mains. Being a Turkish restaurant, it would be only fitting to try a kebab—though that may be a bit predictable. I opted for lamb shish, while my friends chose chicken shish and falafel for their mains. The dish arrived on a sliver of pitta alongside rice and salad, and it was utterly delicious. The lamb was tender and flavorful, complemented perfectly by great company. We all shared the same sentiment—none of us felt bloated, thirsty, or overwhelmed by spices, though there was a hint of garlic. Prices were moderately high, but we felt it was worth it for the thoroughly enjoyable food, which was far superior to any posh takeaway you might expect. I will definitely return with my partner, and I'm sure we'll love the food just as much as I did on my first visit. If you're on the fence about it, I wholeheartedly recommend The Mezze. Just to add, my friends and I have a combined age of 138, so there was no shortage of conversation! Vegetarian options: I didn't check the menu myself, but one of our group is vegetarian and had no trouble finding something to eat. Parking: The Regis Centre car park is very close and was nearly empty during dinner time."

The wonderful staff here accommodated us for dinner last night. The cocktails were fantastic, and the Turkish food was probably the best we've had in the UK in a long time. We might come back tonight!

What a gem of a restaurant, we were lucky enough to get a table after a last minute cancellation. The staff were great, restaurant had a great vibe and the food was the best Turkish cuisine I’ve eaten in the UK, certainly took me back to eating in Turkey last September for sure. Fantastic meal (even if a tad pricey). Would happily eat there again. Staff very welcoming, background music non intrusive. Due to the appalling weather, we were the only ones eating there that night, but still enjoyed our sons birthday meal immensely. I loved it! It was my first time visiting, but it definitely won’t be my last. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the food was incredibly delicious. I dined in for dinner, and I would estimate the cost per person to be around £20–30. I would rate both the food and service as a perfect 5, while the atmosphere gets a solid 4. I highly recommend the Absolutely, Hummus, and Mixed Kebab!
