Lovely meal last night for a family celebration. Nice atmosphere. Staff were helpful and attentive. Food was excellent and the Donburi bowls (pictured) are just amazing!!

The best pub for miles around. Really friendly staff, great food and ales always a welcome. This put has a dog friendly area and welcome dogs our Retrievers love it as they get treats. Well worth a visit. Voir le carte

Fantastic meal as always at The Malt, couldn’t fault it. The sliders from the specials board were amazing, everything perfectly cooked. Mark is an excellent chef, try the home smoked haddock pie and the pulled pork bun. Laura’s team are spot on.

This is the second visit in less than two weeks, the food was so good I went back and I wasn’t disappointed. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. Generous portions but not to large that you are put off. The staff are friendly, and very efficient nothing too much trouble. The place was buzzing and there was a great atmosphere loved it.

Laura and Team Malt did an amazing job catering for my late mother in laws wake. The staff were kind and friendly. Everything was taken care of so we didn’t need to worry. The best thing though was the quality of the food especially the sausage rolls the yummy chips. I don’t usually like sausage rolls but I had 2! Thank you Laura from all the family x Voir le carte

Had a great Sunday roast whilst passing through the area. Booked via email in advance and received a quick response confirming my booking. Service was excellent, really welcoming, friendly, quick and helpful. Food was delicious and good value. The premises did have some external building work in progress but it didn’t detract from a great experience. Would definitely visit again.

We recently celebrated my significant birthday at this restaurant. It is a perfect setting for a small to medium sized party. We initially dined inside but with the beautiful weather, we also enjoyed the outdoor space. Laura prepared a wonderful buffet for us. All of my friends were impressed with the delicious food and its presentation. Thank you, Laura, for a lovely meal and excellent service.

I had a fantastic dining experience last night at The Malt. The owner was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about allergies. As a gluten-free diner, the server was able to guide me through the menu. My medium rare steak was cooked perfectly. To top off the night, we enjoyed caramel espresso martinis that were made to perfection. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere that blends traditional and modern gastro vibes. The Malt is truly a hidden gem in this lovely village. Voir le carte
