"Today we visited The Jolly Farmer for a late Sunday lunch. It was the first time I had visited the pub since it changed from being a Harvester it won't be the last visit, that's for sure! What a lovely upgrade! The pub has a lovely vibe, very friendly welcoming. It had cosy corners a warm atmosphere, but also lots of light space. I would recommend this pub for anyone looking to have a drink or dine alone, as well as for couples or larger groups. We showed up with no booking as a group of 4 adults, just after peak time for Sunday lunch got a table, however, like most places offering a good roast, I would recommend booking ahead if you are part of a particularly large group or wish to dine during peak times. The service was fantastic staff were polite, cheerful really added to our overall excellent experience. The food was good too, not the biggest menu, but what they did offer they did very well!! Plus the range of roasts was great, it was after all a Sunday visit, so I imagine the menu may be different during the rest of the week. I would recommend checking if you would like to know what that may consist of before your visit. All 4 of us agreed that our whole experience was excellent value for money we would all definitely go back would all definitely recommend The Jolly Farmer to others!"

Nice place, bigger than it looks. Parking on the other side of a busy road is a small negative. Food and service was excellent.

What the new team have done to this sad old chain pub is nothing short of a miracle. Friendly staff, great selection of beers and wines, good prices.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service was exceptional, and the food was truly delightful. The prices are very reasonable as well. Highly recommend for a great dinner!

This charming pub is definitely worth a visit again. The food and service were outstanding! We dined in for lunch and found the prices to be reasonable, around £10–20 per person. I highly recommend the roast beef!

The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and a charming crowd, but I found the parking situation to be somewhat limited. Additionally, it was too early for me to try it during my visit, but I will make sure to stop by on my next trip.

Everyone in my group was thoroughly satisfied with the food and drinks; there was nothing we could complain about. The service we received was incredibly helpful and friendly, provided by a lovely lady. There's no doubt we'll be returning.

really good eating for a pub far better than expected,) friendly staff, nice place eating price is about what they expect £12-£20 for a pornstar) definitely worth visiting when they are over. the only retreat is its proximity to a main street the hogs back that creates a background hum.

I ordered the farm shop platter, which featured a generous assortment of baked camembert topped with hazelnuts and honey, along with a few small lamb koftas served on a small naan with tzatziki and salad. There was also chicken liver parfait drizzled with blackberry gel, roasted strips of garlic ciabatta, celery, cucumber, and grapes. The portion was so large that two of us easily shared it, and there was more than enough food for both of us.
