eating is too expensive for what it is. the cocktails are great. the personal is friendly. it was freezing, I had to keep my coat on all the time. it is a really cool building and fun room to be.

It was a good experience to see how a traditional Pie Mash ship could convert to a ‘Cocktail Bar’, it was a nice atmosphere and the cocktails were okay. My only complaint was there wasn’t a lot of choice in the cocktails. Voir le carte

It was really busy and the food was pretty hit and miss. Some good plates and some really bad. The cocktails were good though! Service was very slow and I felt like they kept forgetting about us. We had to go up twice to find someone to ask for our bill.

I confess that we did not try the cocktails, which is pronably the main reason for coming here. However the setting is great. It was difficult to detect the difference between the croquettes although they were pleasant enough. The tapas was fine but not exceptional. Voir le carte

Lovely vibe, quite busy and noisy but fun atmosphere. Benches are a little small for larger bottoms so can be uncomfortable at times and only one toilet for the whole venue. Food was amazing, delicious and hot, best potato croquettes I've ever tasted. Yummy cocktails too!!!

Brilliant cocktail selection, between seven of us we tasted them all. Ordered the whole food menu between us as well and couldn’t fault any of it. Booths seat six comfortably, eight at a push (if two are on the small side). Really lovely vibe all round will definitely be back

I love the concept of the Jellied Eel and wanted to support local venture, however it didn’t really live up to the hype. The main problem was extremely slow and quite frankly lack of service, I have never before had my food arrive before my drinks! We were shown to our table and then pretty much left to our own devises. If we wanted service we had to go and find it ourselves drinks order turned up incomplete. There was only one bar tender fixing all the drinks and 2 front of house staff who after an hour seemed to have given up. Such a shame as the one cocktail I did manage to get was absolutely delicious. Voir le carte
