"We come on holiday near here and always pop into selby for breakfast. Our usual cafe is closed on a Sunday. I don’t know if it was an off day but the staff did not even crack a smile. Miserable as sin! We go stared at like we were aliens when we walked in. The food was nice but the service was, erm miserable. One of the female staff members was heard complaining it was her day off and she was in, and boy could you tell she wasn’t happy! A young lad came in at 10 to, I assume to pot wash etc and the 2 staff already in there ignored him. We won’t be returning, would rather starve!"

Staff always friendly and chatty. Always love going to the hub as a family and a place to escape. Would highly recommend a visit.

What a find ! Excellent service great menu and what more do you need on a Sunday than their legendary hot pork cob or bap and apple sauce scrummy. Will make sure I'll pop in when I'm next up north for a full English!
