The Hub - Carte

I love this café. It is very clean, the staff is friendly, and the service is fast. The food is prepared with care, making it my favorite spot to dine.

Lovely staff here at The Hub, most of the patrons are local, more mature group, so zero bad language or attitude. Fabulous coffee and snacks, free morning papers too.

Been going in the Hub for years. Unfortunately since changing hands, the coffee isn’t the same, people no longer go in for breakfasts as they used to, as they are not as good.

Fabulous to find a cafe open on a Sunday morning. Great menu choice for breakfast stop en route from the Midlands to North Yorkshire. Good value. Felt very safe re COVID procedures. Friendly staff.

We tend to pop in to this establishment for snacks. Staff are helpful and welcoming and tables cleaned regularly and in some areas have screened bays. The food has always been well cooked and presented Voir le carte

Delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. The cafe is clean, the staff is friendly, and it is welcoming to children. I tried a cake that I had never had before and it was delicious. This cafe is definitely worth a visit and we would return if we are in the area again.

I was really impressed by how well this restaurant is handling the COVID restrictions. I felt very safe while dining here, and the Big Breakfasts we ordered were delicious, especially the black pudding. The staff were friendly and attentive. It's a great spot for breakfast after a long bike ride. I would definitely recommend it.

We come on holiday near here and always pop into selby for breakfast. Our usual cafe is closed on a Sunday. I don’t know if it was an off day but the staff did not even crack a smile. Miserable as sin! We go stared at like we were aliens when we walked in. The food was nice but the service was, erm miserable. One of the female staff members was heard complaining it was her day off and she was in, and boy could you tell she wasn’t happy! A young lad came in at 10 to, I assume to pot wash etc and the 2 staff already in there ignored him. We won’t be returning, would rather starve! Voir le carte
