"Couldn’t fault the service and decor but the food was very poor. Meal 1 Fish chips and mushy peas. The highlight of the meal was the chips. The fish in ‘beer batter’ the batter wasn’t crisp and because the batter was so thick there was a slimy layer of uncooked batter between the outer cocked batter and the fish. Mushy peas, they weren’t mushy more like crushed frozen peas. Both the fish and the peas were over seasoned and way too salty. Meal 2 roast chicken, the chicken had an unpleasant layer of yellow oil which also oozed out of the meat. Meal 3 roast beef the beef was rare and ok for our liking, however the rareness theme was carried over to the veg, the cabbage was raw. I am struggling to understand how three very simple meals can be produced so badly."

"If only I’d seen the owners reply to a bad review they got under their google reviews! Shockingly rude! A table was booked for 7.30pm tonight to celebrate an 18th Birthday, we pulled up it was closed! To see the look on these 4 girls faces, SHAME ON YOU!! Called no answer, finally answered by a rude man saying we open at 8! BS!!! You open at 6, no? As per your website? AVOID this place after the way they let down these young girls tonight, no sorry nothing! Thankfully Turquise in Loughton fitted them in at the last minute......ps. Now abuse me, be rude and call me a liar like you did the other bad review!!! NO STARS"

"I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and the service was top-notch. I have heard some people complain about the cleanliness, especially those who order through delivery apps. However, the food served here was freshly marinated and best enjoyed when served immediately after cooking. The dishes had low salt content and were incredibly flavorful. To appreciate this type of cuisine, one must forget about the heavily salted dishes we are accustomed to. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and so did everyone with me. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a water dispenser filled with fruits and mint for guests to enjoy. I don't understand the negative reviews as the service at this restaurant was excellent. I ordered two lamb shawarmas and a falafel platter, both of which had generous portion sizes. We had to take home leftovers because we couldn't finish everything. I have included some photos to showcase the beautiful presentation of the food, which is rare to find at this price point. I would give them ten stars and this is a genuine review as I am not affiliated with the business."

"I went in the Teras for lunch take out start of February as I saw in the window 2 courses for £11.99, which I thought seemed reasonable. The gentleman behind the counter seemed very nice and polite. All of a sudden a young lady came out after hearing I wanted a take away on that deal. No No she screamed, that’s if you’re sitting in! I was quite shocked by her reaction. There was no one else in the restaurant which made me surprised that she didn’t want my £11.99 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, take away or otherwise. Wanted to try their lamb doner which is infused with chillies, as going to be risky because not everyone likes chillies. Now I will never know what it is like, I decided to spend my hard earned £11.99 on another local business which appreciated it."

"We three gluttoneers invaded this delightful eatery to celebrate my wife 's, Angela 's birthday last Tuesday night, and it was better than great. We were welcomed into an inviting ambience of romantic lighting, light tiles and coloured walls, and shown to our favourite window table. Amidst the polite murmer of chat and laughter from diners already there, and the lovely background music, accompanied with a perfectly concocted Aperol Spritz and a Pornstar Martini, we made our selection from a varied menu, especially when you include their specials ' board. James, the proprietor extraodinaire, and the others made us feel right at home with the banter and laughter great. We soon made our selection. All three of us went for the Mango al Granchio; Nino 's do the best this side of Essex. There followed Involini Pescatrice, Saltimbocca Romana. and Linguini Gamberoni; all were faultlessly prepared and presented, and the flavour was astounding. This culinary perfection was baptised with a chilled Prosecco, and it truly woke your palate up. We then concluded this gastronomic extravaganza with a shared Apple Pie and ice cream with a surprise candle and team Nino 's singing 'Happy Birthday ' with their quirky horn wonderful. We finished off with a lemon tea, black Americano, Cappuccino, and black Sambucas plus complimentary ones from our gracious hosts grazie mille! Yet again, Nino 's have raised the benchmark in cuisine excellence, friendship, and laughter. Our compliments to the chefs in the 'hot room ' for their artistry and kind attention, and a huge 'thank you ' to all at Nino 's for an uplifting dining and birthday experience.
