"I have walked past this pub many times, but after my visit, I won't be passing by anymore. The Guinea is a fabulous little place with helpful and friendly staff. They offer a great selection of beers. However, the real standout was the Sunday roast. It was one of the best I have ever had. The beef was cooked perfectly and served in generous slices. The Yorkshire pudding was crispy, the gravy was delicious, and the roast potatoes, red cabbage, leeks, and carrots were all exceptional. It was clear that the chef had put a lot of thought into every aspect of the meal to enhance its flavors. The Yorkshire pudding had crispy onions, the carrots were sweet, the red cabbage was spiced, and the parsnips were perfect. The pub itself is very nice inside and has a bustling beer garden. I give it a perfect 10."

The food at this restaurant is delicious, especially the Camembert and chicken burger. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere at the pub is fantastic.

Had a lovely evening recently whilst out with friends. Food was great, lovely beers and cocktails were great too. Young Will behind the bar pours a lovely pint!

The food here was amazing, helped by the recommendations of our waiter Will. He also was helpful with deciding which cocktail to go for. This really helped bring the meal together and made the visit special.

Came for a couple of drinks on Friday and had a great time. Will at the bar was super friendly and provided great energy. Definitely coming back, hopefully on a night he’s back in to bring the cheery environment to people!

Went today, never used before, husband's birthday lunch.staff were very helpful and fun had 3 grandkids with is as well as 6 adults, servis was excellent food was Hot and yummy, can't fault them one bit, would definitely recommend a visit, might be wise to book as it was busy when we left,

What is not to love about this venue! From the welcoming team (who actually remember us) to the incredible food, each time we have come we have left literally wanting more.. Garden, games, Quiz, table service, loaded fries to the best Sunday roast I think I’ve had in a pub, not forgetting there House Burger, Omg…. The Kids love it, family and friends love it that I have brought here, never been disappointed, by far my favourite pub in the town, except for the Compasses as I run that pub haha.. good job team Guinea! Felt I had to leave a good honest review of what a great job you guy really do.. cheers!

My partner and I decided to have a spontaneous dinner at this restaurant tonight and we were absolutely blown away by the service and food. We were so impressed that we felt compelled to leave a review, which is not something we usually do. The food was incredibly delicious and everything about our experience was top-notch. The server, who I believe was named Callum based on our bill, was exceptional. He made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, even making sure our dog was comfortable. The entire team seemed lovely and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
