The Grill At The Dorchester

Special lunch for my mum start at the Savoy Grill make it very special thank you once again

The Grill is in a grand setting and has an intimate feel to it as it is not very largeIt is a real treat to dine here.

We had the set menu which is good value, the cocktails and wine recommendation was excellent but I have had a better chicken dish elsewhere.

The Grill at the Dorchester was wonderful. Tom Booten's food was out of this world with the minor exception of the garlic ice cream that my partner chose for dessert. The room was beautiful, the service was perfect, all in all I recommend it highly.

We eat here quite often and the food is always well presented interesting and tasty, the service at the Dorchester is second to none, we also frequent the Ritz and Claridges and its up there if not better than those. We typically enjoy dining here for some tasty bites, but we were very disappointed during this visit. The food was good, but the service was shocking. This is not what we expect when we spend £150 on lunch. The bread arrived with the main course, and our food came out before everyone had even finished ordering! When we brought up our dissatisfaction while settling the bill, we received only a brief acknowledgment that didn’t seem genuine.

Our only complaint is that The Dorchester is still undergoing renovations, and it was unclear how to access the hotel. There were no signs on the fence around the front, which would have been extremely helpful. We ended up going the wrong way and ended up in the Chinese restaurant at The Dorchester, where we were informed that there was no way to access The Grill from there, forcing us to backtrack. On a dark, wet, and windy December night, this was less than ideal and could have been easily avoided with proper signage. We mentioned this to several employees, but there was little explanation or acknowledgment of the issue.

We had a fantastic experience at All in the Grill. It was my first trip to London in ten years, and I chose this place for a special occasion. The staff was incredibly accommodating when we arrived a bit late, assuring us it was no problem at all. The hostess was warm and friendly, even taking our coats for us. Daniel took great care of us, offering excellent menu suggestions tailored to our tastes. The food was outstanding. Chef Adam Nevin has crafted a menu that certainly earns its place among the top hotels in the world. He even came by to check on our meal, and we enjoyed every single bite. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant—you won’t be disappointed! Voir le carte
