I really wish they had mentioned that they don't accept cash, as that was a significant drawback for me. Not everyone enjoys toast and cake for breakfast; a more substantial breakfast option would have been appreciated. Overall, the rooms, service, and location were excellent (all rated 5), and the hotel is quite peaceful.

This is a lovely, warm, and clean hotel. The bar staff are very attentive and welcoming. However, the room could benefit from better ventilation. We feel that the advertising signs placed on the grass near the parking area are hazardous, as this is a fast road and visibility is compromised. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 4, the service a 4, and the location a 4. Hotel highlights include a quiet atmosphere and great value.

Firstly, the food was very good. The ensuite great. Atmosphere nice. The negatives were, very little space to hang clothes and right next to the entry door (when you hung your jacket etc. it impeded the door closing. In the ensuite there was nowhere to hang the hand towel. In the room, the secondary double glazing was stuck open. The staff in the bar were more interested in socialising with each other and one young girl customer kept going to the bar and drinking free shots. Restaurant staff were very good but need training.
