Am used to enjoying excellent service and excellent food at this lovely restaurant....but....the gammon steak I had last week was truly exceptional...well cooked...and extremely tasty. Expect to always make this choice on future visits!! Voir le carte

Accessibility: One entrance has a step with a grab rail, while the other entrance features a ramp through the patio door. Once inside, there are no steps, and there's plenty of space to move around. I was expecting a 'homely country pub ' but found a large, characterless space filled with tables and chairs. Sunday menu was lacking... no vegetarian option for the roast, just vegetable Lasagne. I am GF...my roast was just lacking what others had rather than substituted. Nowadays GF stuffing, Yorkshire Pudding etc is easy to come by so no excuse in my opinion. Two staff were friendly enough although one of them kept shouting table numbers loudly...very odd. The third, an older lady seemed irritated when asked for extra sauces... didn 't raise a smile once during our meal. I remember this pub from my teens and maybe my nostalgia has affected my experience. Not again for me sadly as good GF... Voir le carte
