"This place is not what Google says it is. We approached after searching for a decent pub in the area and as we got to the door we noticed the Fox door knocker and saw it said members only. As we accepted defeat and tried for a little picture of the door, two dudes came out of a car and told us that not only were we not welcome there but that we couldn’t even take a picture with the .. door? Very odd and suspicious. However, I feel a little relieved since we probably just avoided a London stabbing. It’s one star only because 0 isn’t an option."

Very slow service considering there was only two other tables occupied in the restaurant. Starter and main took from 12:30 to 14:30pm. Not ideal for a business lunch. However the food was delicious.

We were supposed to have afternoon tea. No one replied to emails and phone calls only automated response. When we showed up while 2 members of staff were outside smoking and the person who answered the door said they were shut and there was clearly work going on. Worse still this was booked through red letter days
