"My friend and I enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast lunch here which is excellent value but huge! This would suit most people with a very healthy appetite but it was a shame that my elderly friend could not do it justice although she gave it a good go! I would suggest offering a slightly smaller size of roast dinner (price adjusted accordingly) for those with smaller appetites. This isn't a complaint, just a suggestion. The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. I have only marked down the score I've given for ambience because, on a warm sunny day, it does get uncomfortably hot in the conservatory and there are no blinds."

Food was not good, just all dumped onto of each other, flies wasps everywhere, waitress seemed like she was doing you a favour! Awful experience…first and definitely last time.

This restaurant is outstanding, providing excellent service. The Sunday roast is truly a royal feast, with generous portions and top-notch food. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back. The garden is a lovely size, and there's a fantastic play area for children as well. Voir le carte

This is a great all rounder restaurant for families and dinner wt friends. The food is excellent and is freshly prepared with smaller portions for OAPs at a very reasonable price. Lovely garden very child friendly with offers for garden food. Friendly staff are very attentive, great service.

I am very disappointed. I've visited this restaurant many times in the past and always enjoyed it, but the recent menu changes have not improved the experience. The charming selection has disappeared along with the specials board. Previously, the menu featured dishes like sea bass, salmon, and classic options such as sausages with mash and liver with bacon. Now, it has been replaced with scampi and chips, pizzas, and burgers. It’s no longer the delightful traditional pub it used to be. Unfortunately, it’s not the right choice for us anymore.
