Food good but pricey. Restaurant very very noisy at this time (sat 8:30) making conversation difficult.

Another enjoyable evening at the Feathers. The staff can be a little too attentive but very pleasant nonetheless.

I brought my grandmother here for an early Mother's Day lunch and it was perfect. The restaurant is a charming little establishment, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend it!

We went on a Thursday which was lobster burger night. We love this place but would never come back on a Thursday again. Lobster had hardly any meat on it and no sauce at all. Simply boiled and then they charged us £20 each for it!! When we were talking to each other about how unimpressed we were, the manager overheard and he leant in and said well we must be doing something right because you keep coming back . We haven 't returned.

We were regulars here, but it went down hill service, food, ambience was a bit lacking. So we didn't bother for a while, which was a shame as I've always really liked it. We decided to return and see if things had improved and were pleasantly surprised. Food was good, the menu had improved. We noted it had benefitted from a wee makeover and the general vibe was so much better. The only thing I could fault was maybe the background music choice, which was a house type vibe... bit of a weird choice for when your having dinner, I'm all for a bit of Ibiza chill out, but this was not so chill. Booked a dinner table here on a Fri eve for a catch up with friends. The food was absolutely amazing! I ordered the duck, but all meals were beautifully presented, well balanced and full of flavour. We had a cosy table, staff were friendly and tentative and although it got really busy, we were not made to feel rushed. Being a Fri eve, the venue was packed by around 2100, and did become a bit noisy, but the dining area was slightly separate to the bar area, so guests were still able to converse without having to struggle to be heard. Overall, a great venue, good value, great food, great staff and will be visiting more often. Thank you.

Overall, we had a good experience at the restaurant and particularly enjoyed the complimentary glass of champagne for our celebration. However, the downside was when we ordered a sharing platter thinking it would be a typical starter to share. It turned out to be much larger than expected. Additionally, our main dishes were served as "second mains" which the waiter pointed out after we had already ordered. It would have been helpful to know this beforehand, as we ended up ordering more food than we could handle. As a result, we were too full for dessert and had to take the leftovers home in a doggy bag, which was a bit disappointing. It put a damper on the evening.

I took my parents out for a Mother's Day Sunday lunch at this pub. I really enjoy the food and the ambiance, but the service is lacking most of the time. We had a late booking after 3pm and by the time we got to our main course, the restaurant was mostly empty. Our waitress was fine, but not very friendly. I always expect great service from this chain of pubs, but it is rarely delivered. Our wine order was initially given to another table nearby, and when it was finally brought to us, there was no apology or offer to open the bottle. Throughout the meal, we were not asked if the food was satisfactory. We skipped dessert, and when I went to the bar to order coffee, our waitress was gone. The... Voir le carte
