"We found this place last year on holiday roaming around the countryside, and knew we had to come back when booking the same cottage again this year. It's a lovely house with some pretty stonking views. It's not the most upmarket place in the area,...but it's comfy, inviting and lends itself equally to nipping in for a quick cup of tea or lunch, or just lounging about for a few hours after a walk. Food is very reasonable and hearty, and just enough variety that I'd imagine most people can eat here quite happily (children included). Think sandwiches, jacket potatoes, cakes and scones, etc. We weren't travelling with kids but there are a few little activities dotted about, so if you're a young family and looking for a place to eat with childfriendly distractions, I'd recommend it."

I'll find you. last week with friends visited. friendly service, especially the young waitress who served us. had tee in the afternoon, beautiful view.

Nice place to visit, but hardly ever open. Plenty for kids to play with and run around. Pleasant staff quite wick service. Have visited 3 times as I'm a local.

I call here with my mum must sundays cos she loves the coffee and cake they serve, as well as the hot food they do as well, plus I think the staff are first class , all I can say its well worth a visit...10 out of 10

full time waste, from the Dalby forest for a place of lunch to find the caffe in scaffolds and locked. is the updating of their website, google and tripadvisor so hard? pity that we cannot comment about eating or service. very disappointed about the lack of customer communication

Stumbled across this delightful place on the way to Scarborough. Bacon buttie a coffee went down really well was just the pick me up I needed after enduring some heavy traffic along the way. The young lady serving was so lovely friendly... very welcoming! Also a stunning view to enjoy, definitely worth calling in. Voir le carte

with the current Covid19 rules that only eat in free, the everley has many tables in the garden so they eat, they enjoy the view and get plenty of fresh air! my man has placed our order on the bar and he could see how the young person works in a targeted and enthusiastic way. they brought us food and drink in the garden and checked that we had everything we needed. we visited the first weekend cafés etc. were allowed to open as some lockdown 2 restrictions were lifted. we were warmly welcomed.

Finally got the chance to visit here after many years of driving past and it being closed. Took partner whilst having a ride out on Mother's Day to kill a few hours. We were very impressed with the quality of the food, especially the size...of the cake slices. The tea and coffee were also very good. Although a lovely sunny day, which allowed us to sit outside and take in the beautiful scenery, a log burner was lit inside the spacious interior for those who found the slightly chilly wind a bit too much. Service was polite and quick and it was nice to see that dogs, as well as children, appeared to be welcome. I'm certain we will be visiting again soon.
