"Although this drawing room is lovely, a few details felt like it wasn't getting the attention it deserved: chocolate still smudged all over the leather seats, missing rubber feet on the serving plates making them swing during the whole experience, chipped cups and stained glassware... The staff was lovely and attentional at the start, but difficult to get the attention of in busy time. The food itself was an amazingly entertaining experience, with great experiments and fun games to do at the start and at the end. The food was tasty and instagramable My two little boys liked it very much, although my 6 years old and his dad commented on it being too sweet and not healthy enough. All in all, no regrets, as it is quite the experience, but would deserve a tiny bit of care to be perfect!"

the science afternoon tea in the drawing rooms was absolutely brilliant. many funny touches and experiment and all food, tee and cocktails also tasted.

Afternoon tea was lovely and loved the science touch. Childrens one was amazing and my son especially liked making his own blue lemonade! Service was brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

the drawing room looks good, but uncomfortable seating where we had to eat, sitting almost double folded. that was nice to eat, but according to our opinion not worth 50. we had better afternoons in other countries.

beautiful friendly atmosphere. smart, stylish, but also casual vibes. tee was beautiful, cakes, scones and sandwiches all freshly delivered and not disappointed. when they were offered more sandwiches and asked for more cream and tee, they were delivered without delay. great attention service. beautiful that they chose for my afternoon tea drawing room.

My friend and I are connoisseurs of afternoon teas and we rated the Science tea at the Ampersand in our top three ever. The food was excellent and varied with lots of different textures and flavours. The service was equally good, helpful but not intrusive.. Finally all the little scientific quirks made it such a fun occasion. Who new you could create so many ways of filling your scone. We are going back.
