"I had the opportunity to visit this fantastic restaurant again, and it has only gotten better! I loved coming here for drinks a few years back, and last year I tried the food. I’m thrilled to learn that we can also stay overnight now! I've sampled a good portion of the cocktail menu, and while the food portions are massive and I couldn’t finish everything, it was all delicious. I truly feel at home here. It’s a wonderful place with an amazing atmosphere and great staff. I can't wait to come back!"

Love this place, it’s my favourite smoke house, great place, great atmosphere, generous portions and lovely meat. This is how smokehouse food should be done.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere and cracking bait!!! Probably one of the best steak Diane s iv ever had and the sweet potato fries are off the map!!! Will definitely be back for more!!

First time back in the town in over 20 years. Glad to see the bottles were still there. In for a quick lunch, food was excellent, staff all very attentive friendly. Excellent service. Be warned, the portions are huge, regretted having a cooked breakfast that morning... Highly recommended!

Highly recommended! The Dirty Bottles offers beautiful staff and a lovely atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. The Christmas dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the Pottergate room is absolutely stunning. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay! Best wishes from the Sharps, North Yorkshire.

We had a fantastic lunch where we shared three meats from the smokehouse menu, accompanied by a generous serving of thick, crispy chips and homemade black corn on the cob. The huge gin cocktails were a great addition, making it the perfect setting to celebrate our anniversary in the Bondgate room. The decor was tasteful, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We ended our meal with an excellent breakfast. This place is a must-visit!
