The Dining Room At Washingborough Hall Country

Super food as usual at Washingborough Hall, service and quality of food really great,always made to feel welcome as per usual.

Superb food and service in a fantastic setting at a very reasonable price. We went to celebrate a birthday and all really enjoyed it.

I had an extraordinary experience at this establishment when I visited for lunch. The head chef deserves a raise! Would definitely recommend to others! I cant wait to visit again.

From the afternoon tea, to the delicious dinner and breakfast, there was nothing to fault in this restaurant. They change the menu every couple of months, so the twice baked cheese souffle and the slow roasted pork may not be on when you visit. But hopefully they will make a return appearance!

A one night stay in the Church house, where we could have our small dog with us was everything we could wish for. A lovely welcoming residents bar, where very attentive staff took our order made a good start to the evening. The menu was interesting and the food superb. A highly enjoyable break.

This place never fails to impress. We took my parents uncle with his guide dog for Sunday lunch. All of us thought the food was amazing; sirloin of beef which 3 of us had was outstanding whilst my uncle loved the blade of beef. The desserts every bit as good too. I'd also like to say how welcoming professional the staff are. From the lady that took my booking who said how welcome the guide dog would be, to the lovely man who is always front of house, to the waiting staff they were first class. I've tried Sunday lunch at many places in the Lincoln area but I don't think there is anywhere better than Washingborough Hall.

I ate on the 10th March. I was welcomed by the staff as I approached the restaurant. I chose to take my table rather than sitting in the lounge beforehand. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely and unfortunately the guidance to ‘dress up’ was not followed although no one was scruffy! I wore my second choice but I would not have felt uncomfortable had I wore my ‘Posh Frock’. I would suggest diners dress up but I’m old fashioned. I had salmon starter and it was light and delicious. We went to Washingborourgh Hall Hotel for an afternoon tea. It was a Thank you gift. We were greeted very welcoming and shown to our table. The decor of the room was smart and classical in style. The tables were all set with cloth table cloths and linen napkins The China tea cups and tea plates were lovely and all different from each other, even the saucers and cups. It was charming. The outstanding customer service started a week before our booking! I contacted the restaurant to ask if they would be able to prepare a main course dish that was not on the menu. They were so helpful! Not only was the chef able to accommodate, but also offered to prepare my favourite dish being beef Wellington. On the day of the meal, the hotel telephoned to ask if my husband would also like to have the beef Wellington as well.
