The Cultured Bean - Carte

This is our go to place if we want a hot drink when out walking. The coffees are lovely but the hot chocolate is made from real chocolate and is gorgeous. Worth a visit.

I love the cappuccino they serve here with the full fat milk, it’s delicious. Unfortunately their opening times are not consistent and are often closed when I visit Ramsbottom.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We were made to feel so welcome, and we'd only popped in for a cuppa. The service was excellent, and the hot chocolate was delicious. Voir le carte

Had a lovely lunch here with family . Home made fish cakes with new potatoes and salad and jacket potato with cheese and beans. The cakes looked amazing but we were full. Staff lovely and polite, will definitely return

Called in here yesterday for lunch , glad we did . Lovely friendly place , the lady who served us was so nice , the food was delicious, well prepared and presented . Great music playing , we enjoyed it so much and would thoroughly...recommend to anyone . Harry and Angie

Popped in with my daughter in law as we had a bit of time before an appointment. The staff were very friendly, we were served straight away when we explained we were on a time limit. A lovely atmosphere, a warm welcome, and a very...good cup if tea. Would highly recommend a visit. Voir le carte

Wasn’t going to go in here at first due to only one other person being inside and it looked a bit dingey and unappealing. Luckily my judgment was wrong. Had one of the best breakfasts and every table filled up with people being turned away...before we finished. Only thing I could complain about is no black pudding.

Went for breakfast. Good quality ingredients, friendly staff, nice varied menu. All staff wearing masks or face shields. Knocked off a star because fat on my bacon undercooked for my taste, and I asked to be cooked more. Came back with meat cooked more but...fat still not crispy, so if I’d asked for further cooking meat would’ve been inedible. No gluten free options, i.e. toast.

I am not sure why, but, everywhere in Ramsbottom was full today so we found our way to the Cultured Bean. It was very nice inside, set up more like a restaurant than a Cafe. (I actually think they have a Bistro night) I ordered...an Americano, lovely coffee but was hoping I'd get offered the choice of roast as they had a wide selection on offer. But, never-the-less it was nice. The food is very reasonably priced, for a lunch menu some of the dishes were more like an evening meal. Gemma ordered sticky glazed chicken strips pitta and, I ordered the Cajun Salmon with homemade Mexican rice. It came with a little side salad too.
