The Crown - Menu

I went to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. The food was delicious and was prepared by a family-run establishment. Everything was freshly cooked at home. The staff were attentive but not too aggressive.

Lovely welcoming family run country pub. Food was plentiful, wholesome and tasty. Service was friendly, polite and efficient. Very much look forward to visiting Charlotte and her team again in November. Well worth a visit.

This is our fifth visit to this restaurant this year. The food is consistently great and the service is always polite and prompt. It's clear that this is a family-run business and they put a lot of effort and passion into it. Pound for pound, this is definitely the best value dining option in the area. Keep up the good work!

Thanks to Charlotte Team Crown for another lovely Sunday lunch Today We find this the best pub to eat not only for Sunday lunches, but for other meals during the week. The Team Crown are wonderful we find this such a comfortable...place to relax over meals drinks. We understand how everyone here works so hard to make it a warm place to be it works so well. I used the venue for our Cricket Presentation for people, once again the Crown Team did not disappoint Food and Service was excellent we will be back. Catering for that many people including Vegan and Vegetarian meals not one mistake and everyone enjoyed the...food. Many of the players had not been into the venue for many years and liked what had been done for the better by Charlotte and her Team

After attending a baby dedication, we decided to visit this restaurant for their buffet. The staff was attentive and the atmosphere, although the pub was not spacious, felt comfortable and cozy. The buffet food was tasty, and we were pleased to find out that we could order extra chips for the children, who enjoyed them along with some of the adults. While we were there, we also checked out their menu and are looking forward to returning in the near future.

Had lunch here recently and the family owned pub had lovely, friendly staff working there. Unfortunately, after having a pork roast and the sticky toffee pudding, both were a bit of a let down. Although the food was very reasonably priced, the roast lacked flavour...and seasoning with most of it overcooked; and the dessert was most definitely not home made and more of a treacle sponge than a sticky toffee pudding. With such a beautiful country pub, it would be great to see really good, locally sourced food, even if it came with a higher price.

Table booked for of us to celebrate a family member’s birthday. Sadly one person dropped out but still of us had a lovely time and the last minute dropout was not an issue for the great people running this place! The food was...lovely, staff super friendly and welcoming, including to our little ‘additional needs’ member! All adults had different meals and everyone was happy! You can stay the night in your campervan or small motorhome here, if you ask the management in advance and dine with them. I went there with my son and was greeted warmly, and treated well. They have FRESH FISH FRIDAY which took my eye,...and the chef said they would also do a kids portion even though it wasn't on the menu. It was a big portion and absolutely delicious. The bar staff were young and very friendly and provided good service. We ended up having a nice chat with some friendly locals at the bar after our meal.
