"it's a nice pub. they are nice. eating is good. I wish they would read the room with the music. as an example last night as soon as the football was over, they set up the music and it was hard rock...(Wolfmother/Iron Maiden/ACDC) really loud. I love a pub with music, but I looked around and it was mainly middle age/aged couples or people from the office chatting or eating and I am like, who thought this playlist was a good idea on this band too! everyone around us was like .. crikey, there's every reason it's so loud. we had only one drink and moved to another. diverse enough, a few close to us did the same. it is however the only critique at another gemstone of a pub."

varied menu for reasonable trips. do not think that eating was cooked by scratch-cooled, how very fast, but nevertheless very good came.

like most Zomato staff I was at the cheese many evenings. the chicken wings were good, the curvy pommes were better, but the wee was the best (it is not always).

Came in early evening on my own whilst I waited for a train at fenchurch street station, a great warm welcome from the landlord, he recommended a smashing pint of ale in Jaipur.

our flight was late and after check-in to our hotel we had a hard time to find a place that served after we liked this little jewel! cordially welcome by staff, great music and a complete menu until we wanted nothing...in g imagination and what we got was very good. we will return!

my visit here. first time was just a late drink as I waited for a train. today I took the time to get in and order food. wings and a few pints later, I leave with a smile on my face. Mike, the...GM was a great presence throughout my visit, doing the rounds, chatting with the other customers. even as an Arsenal fan, I thought he was OK :

that's quite a lot that's all about it. the cheshire cheese in the city is a fantastic place to finish at the end of a hard working day at work. they have great beers on hahn and even better bar food to go with it. The only thing I see here is that this could be much too much of a Monday night habit as I want. but then I'm not sure if that's a good thing.
