Super tasty fish chips and mushy peas plus bread and butter at the cherry tree Melton Mowbray .the cherry tree has new owners who will be bringing out a new menu on June 1st in the meantime call in and enjoy what is on offer at the moment

Had a great family meal. Food was well cooked and nicely presented. The staff were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The pub is under new ownership and it is much better. The decor is tired but it is a work in progress. Would I come back? That's a definite yes!

The restaurant has undergone a significant transformation. The staff is pleasant and friendly, the wine selection is good, and the tables are kept clean. There has been a definite improvement since the change from being a Sizzler. I am excited to try the food, despite the fact that it is only available during reduced hours. Voir le carte

We visited this restaurant for the first time on a Saturday afternoon, and it was quite busy with other diners. We had no complaints about the friendly and quick service, with only a 10-minute wait. We paid £20 for two meals and two drinks, and the food was excellent. The only downside for me was the use of sachets for condiments.

I recently visited the Cherry Tree after it was taken over by Milton. The decor remained the same, but I noticed that the menu now offers smaller portions at higher prices. Despite this, the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the increased prices may prevent me from visiting as frequently for tea as I used to. I hope the new management takes note of this.

I ate at The Cherry Tree this week for the first time since it was taken over by new owners. Having refused to even go in the pub under the previous management this was actually a lovely experience. Firstly the pub is clean (yes I know that’s a basic expectation, but that wasn’t the case previously! Secondly, the staff were attentive and customer service was at it’s best. The new menu left me spoilt for choice and after much deliberation I went for the sirloin steak and upgraded it to surf and turf. It was delicious. A really good quality juicy steak, well cooked and well presented. It was also good value for money. I couldn’t resist a cheeky desert, again a really good price and thoroughly... Voir le carte
