"was greeted with a huge smile I believe was the owner. looked down and was treated very well. it is a very beautiful place with a lot of character. Eating was excellent. the starter of the black pudding scotch eier stole the show. only a small handle was that we were not asked for a drink top to top, although our glasses were empty when our appetizers were cleared. and the woof rings ordered with one of our main things were not showing up (we didn't make any fuss and they were not on the bill). the food was excellent. I will be back and would highly recommend."

Great place, lovey atmosphere and the food is exceptional. We had the Chareaubriand for two, with the triple cooked chips, and if was delicious I can highly recommend this place.

First time in this quaint, cute pub! Instantly welcomed by staff and some of the locals. Some great outdoor seating at the front and out the back (beautiful view). Lovely Queens Jubilee decorations!Note car park is down a narrow alley and round the back!

went last night to my father's birthday and was a great night. beautiful staff at the place was very helpful and polite and eating was fantastic. After I had known the owner simon since the school and his background as a metzger, I always knew that the steaks will be amazing and do not despise them. will go back very soon.

Very disappointed as I had heard fantastic things about this place. We ordered the 2 meat roast and the potatoes was over cooked and the meat was more fat than meat. The waiting staff was fantastic but looked under staffed and run off their feet. Not a great experience especially after paying £80 for 2 meals, 2 desserts and 4 drinks.
