The menu is outstanding, the food is delicious, and the staff is exceptionally courteous and friendly.

This restaurant is a beloved favorite in my family. The last time we visited was on Saturday, April 2nd. The service was excellent, placing our orders was straightforward, and the server was fantastic. And the food—oh my goodness, the food was amazing!

This place is so popular, mainly because it's a reliable staple in the community. The decor is homely and wholesome, and the food is basic but delicious. I was served a BLT where the toast was burnt to a concerning level. One side of the bread was noticeably more charred than the other, and the cook had cleverly placed the more burnt side on the inside of the sandwich, clearly hoping I wouldn't notice. I get that standards have declined in recent years, but I paid £10.50 for that sandwich and expected much better. Service: Dine in.

This charming tea room is perfect for luncheons, tea, and cakes. It is situated within a well-organized collection of shops in a farm courtyard—no unpleasant surprises underfoot! There is ample parking available. The service is delightful, and the menu offers a great selection of light meals such as paninis, sandwiches, and baked potatoes. And don't miss out on the cakes—they're definitely worth indulging in! A visit here is definitely recommended. We had lunch for two, including a glass of wine and tip, for just £38. We eat out very frequently, but were shocked at the prices of everything on the menu and actually walked out before ordering. The prices are fair if in a central London, nice hotel, but outrageous for a mediocre cafe in Watford. We visited the bull pen several years ago and thought we would return for brunch.
