"came here for women until day, wanted to treat them something special and the bridge made it a very special meal. the suppe was fresh and delicious. my wife had the special, which was black medal with a tomatensalat 12.95, which was worth for money. the service was really frendly and helpful would definately recomend especailly if they want to treat this special someone or in my case in their good books."

the slapbang next to the high level bridge has the whole important beer garden, with benches and easy access to the bar above. it has one.

large old turn of the century pub is located in the area of the castle in the did keep between it and the curtain wall and right next to the bridge over.

amazing beer selection, my favorite is the tyne titans. the porter is also delicious. great staff behind the bar, very friendly and also. a must see in newcastle at any time of the day!

if walls could talk, there would be a lot of a conversation coming from the walls at this place! old pub next to the high level bridge and a stop worth! they did not even though at the time of writing. another stop for a beer.

Strolled in here last night and had a few pints of the black stuff. Nice pub with a good atmosphere. The crowd was a real mix of students, suits groups of blokes. The staff were great and looked after me, especially James. Many thanks. Rob.

The Bridge has long been my favourite pub in Newcastle and I've been in a few! It is an old fashioned pub, no blaring music, no disco lights and not packed so you can't sit down. Have a pint (very good choice) and a chat (remember those). The staff and especially the owner are very friendly, will introduce himself and much fist pumping. Excellent Pub.
