Food was from frozen shrimp and peas. The delivery charges are outrageous especially considering half the time the food is cold upon arrival.

I have been using this restaurant for over 25 years friendly owner, great staff and fantastic food. I have used this restaurant for many parties (downstairs) they always cater for what people want especially if you do not do too much spice. The staff always make you feel at home and the owner Malek always goes above and beyond. I moved away 6 years ago and still travel 45mins up the motorway to pick up a takeaway. Highly recommended.

Amazing staff really friendly people made me and my partner feel very welcome and from the start made us feel like we had been there before we had to start onion bhajii and chicken tikka starter which was fantastic and then went on to the main course which i had a chicken korma and then egg rice and garlic nan and my partner had madras and pilau rice and chapati and it was stunning safe to sau we will be going back to the bengal 10/10

We have eaten in the restaurant but tend to get a ‘take away’ and having enjoyed yet smother delicious offering this Saturday thought I should spread the word! Never disappoints! The curry always arrives piping hot and every dish is delicious! Also, always something extra included, last week extra poppadums and this, Bombay Aloo, such a nice touch! This is a very good restaurant, I love it, tonight's take-away was one of the best ever! I had a lamb dansak, with a lamb Madras and Bombay Aloo, onion bhajis to start and a Peshawari Naan with the main, It was so good, the meat was tender, the flavours were intoxicating, the textures wonderful and here's enough left over to have it again tomorrow. The delivery time was half an hour, the driver is very friendly. All in all my favourite delivery meal. Thank you very much.

I was offered dinner by my better half as it was my birthday and of the many restaurants in the local area, I chose the Bengal. Having been coming to this place for over 30 years now, I know the menu inside out and I have never had a bad experience here. The menu is varied enough in spice terms that you can safely accommodate the person who can't take a hint of heat as well as those brave enough to go for a vindaloo or hotter. We had a great meal with super service and the bill for 3 of us, with beers, was £83 this included popadoms and chutney, starters and main course with side dishes. i would really advise strongly against using the services of this restaurant .ive used them three times and never again. im an experienced waiter of many years standing and have never and would never give such bad service to a customer or i wouldnt have a job.my first time ordering a received a call after some time asking to come down to a car to pick up my food.i informed the driver to ring my bell(i live in a house)and bring my food to me.he then buzzed my bell and came up the stairs huffing and puffing as if i was putting him out.he obviously doesn't understand what delivery means.he was so miserable i was really worried that my food could have been maliciously interfered with.i went thro...
