Tasty reasonably price food. Nice and warm unlike alot of lunch places! The vegan chilli was delicious, not only did it actually contain chillies, but it didn't just taste like ratatouille as it often does elsewhere. Friendly and helpful staff.

This charming cafe offers delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. The cakes are absolutely delicious, and the service from Ailish, Lisa, and Holly was top-notch. They even have a separate area where you can sit with your pets, who are always made to feel welcome. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone.

The hot chocolate at this restaurant is consistently top-notch, the best we've ever tasted. Their daily soup is also a fantastic choice and tastes premium. In addition to the delicious food, the customer service is exceptional. Holly and Lisa were outstanding, always smiling and providing speedy service. We always recommend The Barn for its great food, service, and atmosphere. Thank you!

Thank you to the staff at the Barn for a great Scottish Breakfast and piping hot pot of tea which was well received yesterday on a ‘dreich’day! Great to see such a combination of breakfast items on the plate with choice of toast, butter and...sauces served too! The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing good standards of customer service. Thank you! We look forward to popping back soon.

We’ve been to the barn and the sister place the view many times over the years. I had lunch there with a chum yesterday. New (smaller) menu, specials and lots to chose from. Gluten free, veggie and vegan options as standard. It was really busy...as we got our order and there was only two front of house staff on. They were very busy but managed it really well. Food was tasty, fresh and decent portions.

Our third visit to The Barn, which we discovered a few years ago, was as satisfying as the last. While the lunch menu is not extensive, there is something to appeal to every diner. We started with the haggis bon bons, expertly cooked and served with a delectable whiskey sauce. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the portions were generous. For our main course, I opted for the chicken burger and my husband chose the beef burger, both accompanied by fries and a side salad. The portions were generous and the dishes well-prepared. Thanks again to TripAdvisor for letting us know about places to stop for a break while on a road trip. Handy to the this cafe has lots of outdoor tables, although on the day we visited, it was raining. The inside space is also...large, and separated into two rooms there are tables and chairs in the first, which they seem to keep for people eating a meal, while we were directed to the second, smaller room with chairs and low tables for those having coffee and cake. It made things a little messy when you had ordered scones and were trying to spread jam and cream on them. My wife and myself had a rare visit to Aberdeen yesterday Sep After our business was finished we decided to take some of our old roads back to our home in Aberlour, as we used to live in the area back in the...eighty's. We had hoped to get something to eat in Udny, but my wife seen the sign for the Barn Coffee Shop and we decided to give it a try for some lunch, when we got there, being a gorgeous day, we decided to eat outside. You weren't very busy, with one other couple who were finished eating, sitting outside . We placed our order for the grilled sausage with onions and a BLT toasted sandwich, an alcohol free cider and an Americano. We waited over half an hour before our order arrived a...
