"Not a bad pub but nothing special. Ok if you want to watch the football and you can 't get in anywhere else but the TVs are quite poor so even in HD the picture is not great. We ordered 2 bowls of chips that took over an hour to arrive even though the place was far from full, and the waiter really wasn 't particularly bothered when we asked him a few times where they were. Us: Hi, we 've been waiting over an hour for a couple of bowls of chips , Waiter: I know . Staff behind the bar were perfectly pleasant but the same waiter was abrasive on more than one occasion. We won 't be going back."

was right next to the hotel where I lived, and the reason for this was to watch the football game on TV. great atmosphere. fab service. nice pub food.

Comically overpriced. Beef pie with small amount of potato mash: £23 excluding service. There was no pea or other vitamin in sight. No sides available either. Manager seemed uninterested. No wonder pub was empty at Friday lunchtime. Still hungry. Cubitt House used to be so much better.

Perfectly serviceable Greene King pub. A few of the beers were off leaving a small selection of ales and the usual lagers. They seemed to have a happy hour deal (served at 1745) meaning I bought two pints of pale ale for £6. Decent space inside and upstairs and a few barrels outside to rest glasses on. A couple of minutes from Bond Street tube.

We booked a table upstairs for dinner. They had crammed in way too many tables so it was very tight to move around. Service was very slow and bad, no one came to take our drinks order for ages, in the end we had to ask. Same when we wanted the bill. We all ordered pies, which didn't come with any sides for example vegetables. Also it was too hot.

With the departure of the old US Naval Forces Europe HQ and the US Embassy, this pub has turned into largely a tourist stop. It offers the typical mass market pub fare and drinks. Nothing terribly original or unique, just standard fare. Many more unique and lively places in the area, so unless this place has significance to you personally, I'd try another in the area.

Small pub on the ground floor but there's additional seating with a smaller bar on the first floor. The staff are friendly enough and sport is shown on the plentiful TVs around the ground floor. Standard prices for such a place in central London. The toilets on the first floor aren't the cleanest or very modern but they're large enough for busy periods. The range of drinks offered should suit most taste.

Staff are fantastic really make you feel welcome... more of a weekday daytime pub not really geared up for weekend crowd...kitchen closed when I visited at 8.30pm on a Saturday night so can't comment on food good selection of ale and wine... packet of luxury crisps are £5 so be warned however the toilets are fantastic and very clean with muzak! Oh and a lovely painting of the owner Boris Johnson on the main wall...charming!
