The At Duisdale House

Francis was lovely! We had a great experience and the food was very good. Thanks for getting us in even though we did not stay at the hotel!

Took my mum out for lunch on Mother’s Day. It was a splendid experience with the most friendly staff. Everyone was smiling, great service and very good food. Will be back.

We went as a group of 8 for dinner. The hotel/restaurant is beautiful. The servers were all fantastic but the best part was the food. The pate starter was great. Everyone loved their mains but I will say my cod was exceptional. Desserts were equally amazing. Great dinner. Voir le carte

What a lovely warm welcome we received from Neil. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he showed us into a beautiful sitting room and he lit the fire for us. We were served delicious sandwiches and the most scrumptious scones, fresh cream and tasty jam Wonderful, will visit again very soon.

Was very impressed. Friendly staff and high quality dining in a great location. We were told they have a skilled pastry chef and it showed, but actually everything was very well put together, tasty, high quality and without fault. Will definitely dine there again when we are in the area and in fact are now tempted to stay there too!

My husband and I had a lovely birthday meal in the conservatory at Duisdale House in July. The location was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. At the end, as a really nice surprise, they topped it off with a wonderful, 'Happy Birthday ' message on slate decorated with some gorgeous chocolate truffles. Highly recommended. Voir le carte

This restaurant was great for an intimate fine dining experience. The options were great and the wait staff was very informative and checked for any allergies. We really enjoyed breakfast and dinner here. For dinner we had the Mushroom starter, Aubergine and Hake dishes with sides of Broccoli and Potato, and ended with carrot cake dessert. All were very tasty and beautifully prepared!

We arrived in our sailboat and tied up at one of the Duisdale’s 5 moorings, which appear to be very well maintained. We made reservations at the Chartroom Bar (which serves the full menu) as we were told they are pet friendly, and our dog was warmly welcomed by all. The food was excellent with a very interesting and unique menu. Our server Frank was also quite interesting and very personable.

We made a very late booking and as we had dogs we were seated in the bar. It didn’t matter. The staff were brilliant. The bartender suggested a gin and tonic combination that was exquisite. The manager took our food order and provided attentive service despite us being the only party eating in the bar. We felt like we were the only customers and it felt so intimate. The food was beyond delicious. I can’t wait to come back. Voir le carte
