I just came in for a quiet pint, and immediately felt welcome. The staff are working tirelessly to serve customers, meet greet and keep the premises Covid safe, and I take my hat off to them. Thank you for a lovely experience, I will most definitely be back Voir le carte

eating is very good, had numerous meals there and was never disappointed. the last meal was the signed burger I found so delicious, a damn look better than almost food joints. bier is always good, atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. great place to watch sport, how tw everywhere.

had a nice lunch today, a little wait, but pub was full, so always a good sign. it was good to wait, pub was so busy, great mood, very tasty homemade food staff were fabulous friendly. my partner left his mother on the table, a friendly person there was in and the staff kept it safe behind the bar. worth a visit!

Went up to Carlisle with some friends for the day £3 EA return on the train fantastic value we went to The Apple Tree pub it must be said really good value for 2 main courses for £10:99 for lunch I know it's hard the way things are but 1 or 2 more staff would have made it smoother but the value made up for it .....4*.. Came last week as walks at lunch. 2 adults and 3 children. Every other place was full and booked... and good that it was because we missed this point. The service was polite and friendly, the food was good, the children were coloring activity leaves given, and the prices were great for a casual spontaneous family meal. We'll be back next time.

a table online for lunch with friends booked. had to change it very easily and recollection sent a day or something. many pub-grub selections for eating. we had the Sharing plate between us for starter and the lasagne for net. They were pretty busy but we were up to date with how long that would be eating. a lot of drink. very pleasant helpful staff. toilets nice and clean. good family friendly pub.

The Apple Tree is a typical Greene King pub, and when I first encountered the chain I thought that they were like a Wetherspoons’ clone.Granted they tend to be large pubs with extensive, good value food menus, but there the comparison ends. This is simply because the levels of service and the quality of beers served in Greene King pubs are both better than in Wetherspoons.In the Apple Tree the service was welcoming and friendly; the beer was good; and our selection of snack food from the “Beer Food” menu was excellent.
