Thai Square St Albans

The service was great and staff were very friendly but the food wasn't as good as it used to be preCovid

We were seated upstairs in the restaurant, but there was no atmosphere. It felt like sitting in a school lunchroom. The space was cold, dark, and dreary.

The Thai food at this restaurant is fantastic, with plenty of clearly marked vegetarian dishes that can easily be made vegan. For example, they were happy to accommodate my request to remove the egg from the pad Thai. Voir le carte

We always love the food at Thai square but the service is so slow. The table we sat at was in the corner as well so we felt very out of it. Please recruit more staff or train them to be more attentive! Lovely food as always

I had read reviews about the service being slow, however i was impressed by the staff and their diligence. The food was spot on and when asking for less chilli for my daughter they obliged and she loved her meal. Great variety of food and drinks were great too.

We were very disappointed as there was only two staff serving. We waited for ages to be served. Lots of tables weren’t cleared up people were complaining of waiting. If the service was quicker I d be home early! Very disappointed… even our tables weren’t cleaned up.. Voir le carte

The ambiance at this restaurant is fantastic. The food is delicious, but the drunken noodles were too spicy for my taste. If the management improved, this place could easily earn a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. Unfortunately, the service is slow and there were mistakes in our orders. It would greatly benefit from having more staff.

Overall, the food was decent at this restaurant. However, there were some letdowns in our group of 6, such as the duck spring rolls having very little duck in them, making them more like vegetable spring rolls. Additionally, our main courses were not all served at the same time, which affected the overall dining experience. In the end, it was just an average dining experience.

Very disappointing experience. Took 3 hours to get through our meal. It went wrong when the starter arrived an hour in it was cold as if it had been sitting out for a long while. We did get this changed but I had to go to the concierge as there was no one to call back to the table. We then waited another 1.5 hours to get our main, they brought warm plates about 45 minutes before the food turned up so plates were cold by the time the food arrived, Food was ok, had much better in other branches of this chain and in other Thai restaurants.
